  Tron Game

Q-Bert Game

Spent another day with Dad. I love spending time with Dad. I think I'm going to get to spend more with him soon in the near future, helping him gut out and replace the kitchen. Today, we tore out the old lighting and light panels, and went through some old stuff that was stuffed in the corner of the laundry room. Toys, mostly. Baby toys. Strawberry Shortcake and Barbie stuff from my sister, a Hess truck that my brother tore the wheels off of... Most of all, I got my Q-Bert and Tron mini-games back from the forgotten! Anyway...

Today was mainly driving around a lot. To the lumber yards, and to check out the new Harbor Freight Tools store opening on Atlantic and 441. Alas, tomorrow is the grand opening. But it's a better jump than having to drive to the Kendall or Lake Worth stores. Also, we ended up at Costco twice. Don't ask... Once back home, we started to re-seal the goodies that were buried in the laundry room, and is where I found my trinkets mentioned earlier. The tearing down of the ceiling panels in the kitchen was interesting... Those have been there all my life. Now the kitchen looks so foerign. No going back now. At least not very easily.
In other news, I am still awaiting to hear about this pending job offer looming over my head. My roommate has just about completely moved out - just some residual stuff needs to be removed - and my bathroom cleaned! So, with things the way they are, I am very glad to have the distractions keeping me busy as of late. Also, I am taking Nana to the doctor's tomorrow morning. She had bumped into something with her car the other day, and dented the fender. I do not yet know how bad it is, but her neighbor has her convinced that a cop will pull her over for it. I dunno... So I will be taking her in for her checkup tomorrow morning. But like I said, I could use the distractions. I'm sure there is a lot more going on as well, but that's all I can think of right now, without repeating myself (again).
